Safety
Posted On: Jun 30, 2016
FYI: In light of the recent incident, please be aware of your surroundings. There is an activie shooter incident @ Andrews AFB & there was a shooting last night @ 400 blk. of Bladensburg Rd. N.E. Please be careful and your safety starts with you. PLEASE BE CAREFUL. If you are sent to a known "hot spot" contact your supervisor and advise them that the area is a 2man area. They are then suppose to send someone to you. If they fail to do so, try and contact the duty supervisor, and/or the 2nd Level. If still no satisfaction, then leave the area. At the end of the day, leave that job on your time. Nothing about this job is worth any of our lives, so don't take the risk. You cannot be disciplined for legitimately taking the utmost precautions for YOUR safety. A good rule of thumb is, "ALL OF D.C."  is a 2man area.
