When workers organize, mobilize, and strike together we can build power and win the wages, benefits, and working conditions we need and deserve. But that can be extremely difficult when our current laws keep the balance of power tilted in favor of CEOs and the super-rich.
The problem is, when CEOs and the 1% hold so much power, our economy and laws stay rigged in favor of the wealthy. They get richer while our wages stay stagnant and our working conditions get worse. We need big change.
The Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act is historic legislation that will put power in the hands of workers and reverse decades of legislation meant to crust unions. The bill will completely change labor law as we know it and shift power away from CEOs to workers.

CWA members have voted to ratify a new four-year Agreement covering 12,000 AT&T Mobility workers under the Orange Contract. The new contract offers adjustments for inflation, adds parental leave, limits mandatory overtime, extends job security protections, curtails the outsourcing of jobs to third party retailers, and much more. Congratulations on a hard-fought contract!

CWA members have voted to ratify an extension of the current contract between CWA District 2-13 and District 1 New Jersey and Verizon Mid-Atlantic. Also ratified is the extension Agreement at Verizon Connected Solutions. Members represented by CWA District 1, as well as IBEW Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, have also ratified their Agreements. The Agreements will extend the contracts through August 1, 2026.
July 2022, CWA and Catalist bargaining teams reached a Tentative Agreement and the members voted to ratify the Agreement. The CWA bargaining team negotiated for the members to receive a fair first contract. Congratulations Catalist on your contract and welcome to CWA!
On October 28, 2022, the Tentative Agreement received an overwhelming 84% of the vote by the members to ratify the Agreement. The contract will take effect as of October 6, 2022. Congratulations to all the members and a special thank you to the members that organized, mobilized and assisted the Bargaining Committee! Congratulations are in order to CWA and EveryAction Bargaining Teams!

The agreement to extend the contracts between CWA and Verizon has been ratified by the combined results of the voting in the Mid-Atlantic bargaining unit.
