CWA and PIW met this week on Monday, September 16th and Tuesday, September 17th. On Monday, the Union and PIW each passed a contract language proposal. The Union followed up on our outstanding information request regarding job descriptions. This information needs to be provided before we can determine and verify titles that should be included in the contract.
Our next Membership Meeting is Tuesday, March 17, 2019, at 5:00 pm at the Union Hall, 151 Riggs Road, NE, Washington, DC. Come after work for Social Hour to enjoy food and beverages before the meeting starts at 5:00 pm.
CWA members overwhelmingly voted to ratify the tentative agreement covering 21,000 AT&T Mobility workers under the Orange Contract. The new contract offers more pay, more job security, and more work for CWA members. Congratulations on a hard-fought contract!
CWA/UPO BARGAINING REPORT #1: Hello Brothers and Sisters of UPO, on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, CWA and UPO met to begin the bargaining for a good contract. Bargaining will continue until we have a fair contract.
The main objective of Job Security for every member in the bargaining unit has been achieved! Frontier has a fair contract for everyone. This victory is a result of the solidarity and commitment each and every member showed during the strike. Congratulations CWA and Frontier members!
