Unity at AT&T Mobility
Mark,
My name is Tiffany. I’m a retail worker in New York City and a proud member of CWA Local 1101.
This weekend’s iPhone launch is super important to AT&T and it’s essential that we act like a union. Join us in wearing stickers on Friday, Saturday and Sunday to show our unity and let the public know what we’re fighting for.
You should have received stickers from your Local. If you need stickers, get in touch with your Local ASAP and they can get you some.
There are 21,000 of us across the country. If we all wear our stickers, the company will be stunned, and get the message loud and clear.
All of my coworkers in New York City will be wearing our stickers over the iPhone launch weekend. It is not enough to complain about how our stores are closing down and how our calls are going to the Philippines. We have to take action. Each and every one of us must do our part as union members.
Please, no excuses. If you are afraid to wear a sticker, get over your fear. The law says we have the right to wear these stickers.
And if any manager asks you to remove the stickers, show them this letter from CWA’s attorneys. Click here to download the letter. If they insist, ask them to put their illegal request in writing.
Reply to this email with your photos wearing the stickers and you will be featured on social media! Check us out on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
In unity,
