CWA / AT&T 2017 “Orange” Contract Bargaining
February 06, 2017 – Bargaining Report #12
The Union and company resumed bargaining today with both sides having
multiple clarifying questions. As stated in the last bargaining report, the
Union passed language last Saturday on multiple major issues. The
company, as expected, had multiple questions about our proposals. Our
proposals are fair and reasonable but the company is too greedy to accept
anything that would help our members, their employees.
The Union had many questions after reviewing data the company provided
related to the technicians and call centers. The company has trouble
providing information when it’s to improve working conditions for their
employees but no trouble when it’s used for discipline or negative impacts.
We still have outstanding data requests for retail, network and call center
workers. Stay mobilized and stay angry!! Bargaining resumes tomorrow.
Stay strong Sisters and Brothers!!
