CWA / AT&T 2017 “Orange” Contract Bargaining
March 13, 2017 – Bargaining Report #27
The Union passed proposals on more title upgrades, fair treatment in the
Team Colors program, improved safety language for techs and warehouse
workers, increased tuition reimbursement and changes to the Manager in
60 program that would make it fair and more inclusive. Today the company had members of their commission team on a conference call to clarify many issues the Union has with the company’s unfair and greedy commission plan. The improved dialogue goes right out the window when we address the greediness of AT&T. The Company continues to stand by their greedy commission policies and they believe it’s a good thing to cut people’s compensation even as their profits continue to soar. Randall Stephenson’s pay rose 13% last year to nearly 30 million dollars, but the company continues to cut commissions and outsource jobs. We are in for a long fight!! Stay mobilized, stay unified and together we will win!!
Stay strong Sisters and Brothers!!
