CWA / AT&T 2017 “Orange” Contract Bargaining
January 29, 2017 – Bargaining Report #5
The Bargaining Team met the company today with the hopes of working toward a fair and equitable contract. The Company wasted no time in showing that they have absolutely no respect for the employees that built their company. They passed an absence proposal that was completely insulting and totally unacceptable. The greed of AT&T was on full display. Sitting with the company, you realize that they don’t view their employees as hardworking people; they view them as the enemy. All members of CWA covered by the Orange contract, need to mobilize and fight back against this corporate greed.
The Bargaining team is intent on improving working conditions, wages and all the issues important to our members. This is a fight for good middle class jobs! No matter how greedy AT&T is and no matter how disrespectful they are to their employees, we are here to fight and with the support of the membership behind us WE WILL WIN!!
Stay strong Sisters and Brothers!!
