CWA/PIW BARGAINING REPORT #28 The Union and Company met to continue negotiations Wednesday, November 6th and Thursday, November 7th, 2019. During these 2-day sessions, PIW handed over job description information that the Union had requested over 4 months ago.

CWA and PIW met this week on Monday, September 16th and Tuesday, September 17th. On Monday, the Union and PIW each passed a contract language proposal. The Union followed up on our outstanding information request regarding job descriptions. This information needs to be provided before we can determine and verify titles that should be included in the contract.

CWA/PIW Bargaining Report #27 Good Afternoon Sister’s and Brother’s: Negotiations continued on Monday, September 30, 2019 and Tuesday, October 1, 2019. During these 2-day sessions the parties reached another tentative agreement. Nursing staff should be aware that PIW is proposing changing your shifts from 12-hour shifts to 8-hour shifts.

CWA/PIW BARGAINING REPORT CWA and PIW met this week on Tuesday, August 13th and Wednesday, August 14th. On Tuesday, the Union addressed a number of issues that have recently been impacting our members. We have received information about some of our members reporting that their pay has been incorrect or that their PTO has not been paid out timely.

Today (Tuesday, November 27, 2018) we met with PIW and continued working on remaining contract language proposals so we can move the topic of negotiations from contract language to economic proposals. Your contract initially expired in June 2015. Bargaining did not begin until PIW/UHS had a new HR Director in place.

CWA and PIW met Thursday, February 21st. On Wednesday, February 20th the lead negotiators discussed some of the remaining proposals. Your bargaining team spent a considerable amount of time diving into the employee lists provided to the Union. This report provides rates of pay; job titles; fulltime, part-time or PRN status.

Bargaining Report 24

CWA and PIW met for bargaining on March 6th and March 7th, 2019. The Bargaining Committee narrowed the team to 2 committee members to meet with 2 PIW/UHS representatives. The remaining committee members continued to review requests for information. This shift in negotiations has proved to be productive.
