Bargaining Report #20 Hello Brothers and Sisters of PIW – CWA and PIW met Monday, August 6 and Tuesday, August 7. The Company and Union are nearing a conclusion to negotiating non-economic language. To date we have reached 13 tentative agreements.

During today’s (Monday, November 26, 2018) negotiations there were no discussions regarding bonuses and raises. UHS made no offer of money to the Union. In fact, contract language proposals were the only discussion between UHS and the Union. Rumors seem to have been circulating the hospital about money being set aside or given to the Union.

CWA/PIW BARGAINING REPORT #19 CWA and PIW did not meet Monday, February 5, 2018, due to the lead Company negotiator being ill but were able to bargain Tuesday, February 6, 2018. In the opening session the Union and the Company had extensive conversation regarding training, certification, and the use of Healthstream.

CWA/PIW BARGAINING REPORT #14 The Union and PIW met today October 5, 2017. The morning started with both sides updating the status of proposals. The Union requested clarity on language from PIW on several proposed issues in order to prepare for counter proposals that will not be detrimental for our members.

The Union and the Company met on Monday May 1, 2017. The Company passed several proposals to the Union, which we will be reviewing these proposals. The Union also submitted a counter proposal to the Company and both sides have tentively agreed to one proposal. We were scheduled to meet on Tuesday May 2, but that meeting had to be canceled.

CWA/PIW BARGAINING REPORT # 7 The Union and Company resumed bargaining 3 days this week after breaking for the holiday. On Wednesday January 11, 2017, the Union opened the bargaining session by submitting to the company an “information request” which both sides engaged in open and frank discussions concerning various issues.

CWA/PIW BARGAINING REPORT # 8 FEBRUARY 13, 2017 The Union and the Company meet today Monday February 13, 2017. The two sides came to a tentative agreement on a couple of issues, but still have a ways to go with other issues.

CWA/PIW BARGAINING REPORT #9 The Union and the Company met Tuesday February 14, 2017, for another day of bargaining. The Company informed the Union that the 2016, “Annual Employee Bonus” will not be paid in 2017, because PIW missed the $1 million dollar revenue mark that triggers the bonus payout.

CWA/PIW BARGAINING REPORT # 6 The Union and the Company met today Wednesday, November 16, 2016 for a second day of contract bargaining. The morning session started with the Union submitting to the Company a proposal on “occupational safety & health”, with the focus of the discussion being on the safety.

CWA/PIW BARGAINING REPORT # 5 The Union and the Company met Tuesday, November 15, 2016 for the first of a two day bargaining session. The morning bargaining session started with the Union presenting our counter proposal on “discipline”, and presenting our proposal for “job postings & bidding”.
